Allen Boudreaux of MMR Group Joins Coreworx Board

30 Years of Contract Management Experience Added To Project Information Control

Kitchener, ON (April 29, 2009) - Coreworx Inc., a subsidiary of Acorn Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACFN), announced today that Allen Boudreaux, Executive Vice President of MMR Group, has joined Coreworx Board of Directors.

Coreworx is used globally by industry leaders to manage project execution risk. Coreworx Project Information Control software is used for managing complex engineering documentation and information exchange amongst design professionals, external engineering firms and contractors.

Since joining MMR Group, Inc., Allen has been actively involved in growing the company to one of the largest electrical and instrumentation contractors in the United States. He was also involved with taking MMR into the international market where it remains a major player in various parts of the world. He served a key role in developing strong relationships with strategic clients; served as Executive Sponsor on numerous domestic and international projects; and assisted in implementing MMR's contracting philosophy and dispute resolution procedures.

As a member of the American Bar Association, Allen was licensed at the Federal and State Courts of Louisiana and Texas Federal Courts. He was part of the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry, Public Contract Law Section, Fidelity & Surety Committee and the American Arbitration Association. In addition, Allen has published several articles specifically focused on contractor arbitration.
